Mosinee Boys Basketball Blitz Altoona

Mosinee hosted Altoona in non-conference D2 action on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Mosinee dominated throughout and picked up a 90-48 victory.

Davin Stoffel would score the first 6 points of the night for Mosinee when Drake Grod would nail a couple of threes, 2 of his 3 on the night, 12-10 Mosinee. With 5:33 to go in the first half, the ball is thrown ahead to Davin Stoffel who throws down a huge two-handed slam, 33-16. With 2:23 to go in the half, Trevor Garski would knock down a three, 44-24.

Mosinee would lead at the half 51-29. Mosinee would force 8 turnovers and get 16 more stops including 4 kills in the first half (3 or more stops in a row) which included giving up only 2 field goals in the final 10 possessions of the half.

Stoffel would start the second half like he started the first, he would score the first 8 points of the half for Mosinee, 65-38.  Trevor Garski would connect from deep on a pair of threes of this three on the night and Drake Grod would make his third three of the night with 5:38 left in the game, 84-43, which start running clock.
Mosinee would give up 2 field goals in the last 16 possessions of the game to Altoona including a three on their last possession to win 90-48. Mosinee would force another 9 turnovers and get another 17 stops, for 5 kills in the second half.
