Mosinee Blasts Preble to Take Tournament Title

Mosinee played Green Bay Preble on day two of the Green Bay Preble Tournament. Both teams had won on the previous day. Preble got on the board first when Thomas Micheals scored down low in the post. Mosinee would respond with a couple of three-pointers by Kyle Miller and Trenton Dorn.
Mosinee would have a balanced attack in the paint and from beyond the arc connecting on 5 total threes in the first half, including a pair from Drake Grod and one from Keagan Jirschele. Mosinee and Preble would trade blows all of the first half with Mosinee clinging to a 41-39 lead at the break.
The second half would play much like the first half, trading buckets, especially from the free-throw line. Preble would score 14 of their 30 points in the second half from the line while Mosinee would score 8 of their  34 second-half points from the line. Mosinee would go on to win, 75-69, and advance to 7-1 overall this season.
Davin Stoffel lead all scorers with 27 points. Drake Grod buried 4 three-pointers to finish with 16 points. Keagan Jirschele added 10 points including a three. Trenton Dorn had a three and finished with 8 points. Kyle Miller hit a three to finish with 7 points. Trevor Garski had 6 points and Cole Kowalski had a point to round out the scoring.
Green Bay Preble was led in scoring by Thomas Michaels with 19 points. Austin Renard hit 2 threes and finished with 15 points. Reese Berg knocked in two three-pointers and Sam Hummel made one to both finish 12 points. Anthony Cortez-Beunrostro made a three to finish with 7 points and both Jackson Racine and Adrian Heinemeyer each had 2 points.
