Matt Flynn Files 4,000 Nomination Signatures to Qualify for the 2018 Ballot
OnFocus – In a showing of strong momentum, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Matt Flynn Wednesday became the first to submit the required signatures to appear on the ballot in 2018. Flynn submitted 4,000 signatures, twice the required number, from Wisconsinites in 61 counties.
“I want to thank the thousands of Wisconsinites who nominated this campaign,” said Flynn. “After eight years of stagnant wages and growing corruption, Wisconsin is ready for a change. Today’s filing shows the strength of our grassroots movement to lead Wisconsin Forward again.”
Matt Flynn is a Navy veteran, attorney, and former Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. He graduated from law school at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
