Marshfield Police Reports – April 30 through May 6

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) –

April 30 – A woman reported receiving inappropriate and disorderly messages from a man. Contact was made and the man said the woman also sends him disorderly messages. Both subjects were warned to not have any further contact with each other or they will be cited or arrested as this has been an ongoing issue. Both parties agreed to cease contact.

May 1 – Officers were dispatched for a disturbance on S Central Ave. Upon arrival, three individuals who were on active probation were inside the room A 41 year-old female turned over marijuana and drug paraphernalia when officers asked about the odor of marijuana coming from inside. A 41 year-old Unity male was found to be in possession of marijuana as well. DOC detainers were not authorized. Both individuals were cited.

May 4 – Upon a traffic stop at E Blodgett/Central, K9 Rika alerted to the presence of drugs in a vehicle. The driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant, possession of THC and meth related drug paraphernalia. Charges were requested through Wood County DA.

May 5 – At 11:50am, a principal reported an uncontrollable 9 year-old at Washington Elementary School. He was ultimately turned over to a guardian. Due to the male’s assaultive behavior, he will be referred to Marathon County Human Services for battery.
