Marshfield Police notifies public of sex offender release

Submitted to OnFocus – Seth J. Peterson was convicted of Third-Degree Sexual Assault in Wood County on 11/29/2016. He will be released on 09/29/2020 and will reside at 201 W Depot St in the City of Marshfield. He will be placed on supervision with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC), and monitored by Probation agents within the City of Marshfield.

Mr. Peterson is not to have any unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with the victim, and is not to consume drugs. He must comply with the standard sex offender rules and cooperate with electronic monitoring. Mr. Peterson is required to have face-to-face contact with law enforcement and must comply with all requirements as a lifetime registrant with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry. Mr. Peterson’s current address and any change of address will be updated and available online by accessing the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry at https://appsdoc.wi.gov/public.
