WAUSAU – Tara Kracht and Kaitlin Alberts earned event wins for the Marshfield girls swim team in a 121-49 dual meet loss at Wausau East on Tuesday.
Kracht won the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.65 and Alberts took first in the 100 backstroke in 1:08.14 for the Tigers’ lone two victories in the meet.
Alyssa Franks took second in the 200 freestyle (2:12.15), Alberts was second in the 100 butterfly (1:07.85), and Kracht, Franks, Alberts and Risa were second in the 400 freestyle relay (4:10.25) for Marshfield’s three runner-up finishes.
Marshfield will host Lakeland and Holmen in a triangular meet Tuesday starting at 5:30 p.m.
