Marshfield Gets First Win of the Year, Downs Eau Claire Memorial

The Marshfield Tigers Football team got their first win of the year, taking down Eau Claire Memorial 27-18.

Marshfield was led by Haiden Carlson, who ran the ball 19 times for 234 yards and a touchdown, caught 3 passes for 54 yards, and also had a 91-yard kick return for a touchdown. Josh Taylor added a touchdown on 3 carries for 11 yards.

Ethan Foemmel went 6/13 passing for 75 yards and a touchdown. Trevyn Freis went 6/11 for 67 yards passing.

Ben Jordan caught 4 balls for 56 yards and a touchdown.

Mason Lauscher led the Old Abes with 19 carries for 154 yards, and Cole Holzinger ran the ball 24 times for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Marshfield moves to 1-4 and next hits the road to take on DC Everest on Friday night. Eau Claire Memorial next hosts cross-town rivals Eau Claire North on Friday night.
