Marshfield Fire & Rescue Responds to Early Morning Car Fire

The Green Shift at Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department responded to an early morning car fire on Friday.

The department was dispatched at 1:40 a.m. and responded with two fire engines and an ambulance. Upon arrival at 112 E. 2nd Street in Marshfield, they discovered a vehicle fully engulfed in flame. A wooden fence adjacent to the vehicle was also on fire.

Responders extinguished the fires and there were no injuries. The owner was not in the vehicle at the time of the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The last unit was cleared at 2:52 a.m.
