Man Arrested After being Stabbed
Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) Monday, September 13th at 10:30 pm, Marshfield Police responded to a 32-year-old male who had reported that he had been stabbed. Officers made contact with the male at St. Joseph Ave and Blodgett Street, where the officer noticed a stab wound to his face.
Marshfield EMS transported the male to Marshfield Medical Center for his injuries.
After further investigation, it was discovered that the male was in an altercation with a 34-year-old Marshfield female. It was identified that the Spencer male was the primary aggressor in the altercation. The charges requested indicate that the male subject may have attempted to strangle the female during the encounter.
The female stated that the male attacked her and she used a knife to protect herself. The male was arrested and later transported to Wood County Jail after being medically cleared.
Marshfield Police have requested charges through Wood County District Attorney’s Office for Domestic Abuse related Battery, Strangulation and Bail Jumping.
