On Sunday afternoon, Marshfield Police Department responded to a call of possible drug activity at 2121 W Veterans Parkway in Marshfield, at the location of the 7 Star Motel.
Consensual contact was made and an Act 79 search was started. During the search, a 24 year-old Mosinee man became resistive and was taken into custody.
Officers located a bag of white rock-like substance on the male, which was believed to be Methamphetamine. Tests revealed that it was Methamphetamine, weighing 42.4 grams.
Charges will be requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office, according to police reports.
