The Marshfield Area Community Foundation cut the ribbon on its new location at 2nd Street Community Center on Thursday. The foundation was formerly housed in Partners Bank, which had donated the space for six years, and made the move in December.

Since its small beginnings in 1993, the foundation has grown to $16 million in assets and donated $3.7 million back to the community last year alone. In total, $26 million has been donated back to the community in the Foundation’s 26-year history.

“Because of you we’re here, and we’re here to stay,” said Amber Kiggens-Leifheit, Executive Director.
