Kenny Schultz Delivers On The Mound, Plover Black Sox Shuts Out Hudson Legion

Kenny Schultz didn’t allow a single run against Hudson Legion, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Plover Black Sox to a 1-0 victory on Thursday

The pitching was strong on both sides. Schultz struck out nine, while Hudson Legion pitchers sat down nine.

A single by Wylie Baumer in the first inning was a positive for Hudson Legion.

Schultz was the winning pitcher for Plover Black Sox. The southpaw lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out nine.

Will Haverly took the loss for Hudson Legion. Haverly lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing two hits and one run while walking one.

Brody VonBerg started the game for Hudson Legion. The hurler allowed three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out nine

Plover Black Sox saw the ball well today, racking up five hits in the game. Tommy Drohner and Brycen Cashin each had multiple hits for Plover Black SoxCashin and Drohner each managed two hits to lead Plover Black Sox.

Baumer went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Hudson Legion in hits. Hudson Legion didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kyler Hove had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
