OnFocus – Marshfield Police Department K9 Officer Chris Hasz and K9 Steffi were given a Meritorious Tracking Award today by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Canine Handler Association (WLECHA). Board member Dan Wachowiak presented the award.
The duo received the award for successfully tracking a homicide suspect on April 7, 2020, which resulted in information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
“We are proud of our K9 teams and the positive work they do for our community!” Marshfield Police Department said in a statement.
