Athens (OnFocus) – Aiden Janke scored 30 points and pulled down 16 rebounds to lead all players as Athens defeated Wabeno-Laona in nonconference play, 72-61.
Cooper Diedrich had 17 points and Dayne Diethelm chipped in with 10 points for Athens.
Janke was 3 of 3 from long range and 12 of 16 overall from the field.
Diedrich added 10 rebounds for the Blue Jays.
