Hortonville’s Kamy Peppler Named State’s Top Senior Point Guard

Kamy Peppler of Hortonville has been named the state’s top senior girls basketball point guard by WSN.

She was named Ms. Basketball by the WBCA and is a three-time first-team WBCA all-state selection.

Peppler, a 5-6 point guard, averaged 13.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 3.3 steals per game with 45 three-pointers made for the coach Celeste Ratka and Polar Bears.

The NCAA Division I Milwaukee Panthers signee finished her career with 1,201 points, nearly 475 assists, and over 304 steals, leading Hortonville to an 85-20 record with two state tournament appearances.

The finalists for the award were Peppler, Ja’cia Cunningham of Milwaukee School of Languages, Leah Lemke of Wrightstown, Aaliyah Smith of Madison La Follette, and Ashlyn Yow of Waukesha West.
