Holland wins all four events to help Marshfield gymnastics to dual win over Medford

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield gymnastics team on its second-straight Great Northern Conference dual meet, taking care of Medford 134.725-119.5 on Thursday night at Marshfield High School.

Gracie Holland won all four events and the all-around, and teammate Emma Haugen was second in all of the events and the all-around for the Tigers.

Holland won the vault (9.3), uneven bars (9.275), balance beam (9.1) and floor exercise (9.45) to take the all-around title with 37.125 points.

Haugen was second in the vault (8.9), beam (8.35) and floor (9.0), and tied for second in the bars (7.9) to finish with 34.15 total points.

Sophie Nikolay also had a third-place in the vault (8.5) for Marshfield.

Makala Ulirch finished third in the all-around with 32.8 points, and Brooklyn Bilz tied Haugen for second in the bars for Medford.

Marshfield is off until Jan. 5 when it will compete at the Wisconsin Rapids Invitational. The Tigers’ next home meet is Jan. 15 against Antigo.
