The Hodag Country Festival has been postponed to 2021.

“In the best interest of our Northwoods community and dedicated Hodagers, we have made the decision to postpone the 43rd Hodag Country Festival until July 8-11, 2021,” organizers stated. “Although our entertainers, vendors, and many fest-goers were still hoping to participate in this year’s festival, we feel the safety of our community is more important.”

The festival originally planned to move forward even while other summer events have been postponed due to COVID-19 challenges.

“The possibility of having the Hodag Country Festival has created stress and division in the Rhinelander area, and we are sincerely apologetic for this. It was never our intent. The festival has always been about community. We have been here for 43 years and have always supported the Northwoods area. Hodag hopes we can continue to have your support in the future.”

Organizers stated instructions will be emailed in the next 10 days for ticket refunds or rollovers for next year, and to keep 2020 tickets and camping permits.

“We are looking forward to next year, and are already working on another awesome lineup. Darius Rucker and many of the same other artists will be there, and we hope to see you too! Until then, stay safe and healthy!”
