Our Mission

The ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy educates the public about rodeo, its history and impact on Western American culture, and provides recognition to rodeo notables of the past and present and serves as an inspiration for the future.

Plan a Visit

The ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, near the foothills of Pikes Peak. Access is directly off Interstate 25 at Exit 148, at Rockrimmon Boulevard. Colorado Springs is 55 miles south of Denver, in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Airline service is available into Colorado Springs Municipal Airport and the Denver International Airport. Rental car and taxi/bus services are available.

Our physical address is 103 Pro Rodeo Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919. We are located directly off of I-25 and Rockrimmon Blvd. (Exit 148) Make sure to park in the parking lot with the larger-than-life bronze of Casey Tibbs and Necktie. If you don’t see the bronze, you are in the wrong parking lot.

Summer Hours:
May 1 – August 31: open 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm
(Last admission at 4:30pm.)

Winter Hours:
September 1 – April 30: Wednesday–Sunday, 9am to 5pm
(Closed Monday and Tuesday. Last admission at 4:30pm.)

Closed on these Holidays:
New Year’s Eve & Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day

Seniors (55+): $9.00
Military: $8.00
Youth (6-12): $7.00
Kids (5 & under): Free

*Members include Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, Women’s Professional Rodeo Association, and ProRodeo Hall of Fame Members. You must present your membership card to receive your complimentary admission.

Groups

Guided Tours

We offer discounted rates for school groups, kindergarten through high school and groups of 14 people or more. Call (719) 528-4764 to book your group in advance.

Free programs available to add to a school group tour for kindergarten through 8th graders. Click here for more information.

Guided tours of the museum are available Monday-Friday for any group size. Please call in advance to book a guided tour to ensure a docent is available.
