Two teams in for sure, a few more on the bubble, and no one out just yet. Check out where your favorite team stands from the Great Northern Conference.

Qualified
Medford (6-1, 5-0 GNC)
Mosinee (5-2, 4-1 GNC)

Eligible
Wausau East (4-3, 3-2 GNC)
Remaining: @Lakeland, @Antigo
Wausau East basically clinched a spot with a last second field goal against Merrill and their earlier season win against Mosinee (a playoff qualifier). One win in their last two can seal the deal on their first playoff spot in 12 years.

Work to do
Merrill (4-3, 2-3 GNC)
Remaining: Tomahawk, @Rhinelander
A heart breaker for the Bluejays in Wausau, sets up a final run that needs two wins, or one win and some help in the tiebreakers. Their best hope in the tiebreakers is to cheer for Crandon to win out (which they could do) and make the playoffs.

Antigo (4-3, 2-3 GNC)
Remaining: @Mosinee, Wausau East
The road just got tougher, a trip to Mosinee and then welcoming Wausau East. Need an upset to have a shot to get in.

Lakeland (4-3, 2-3 GNC)
Remaining: Wausau East, @ Tomahawk
Step one complete get the win against Antigo, now you need to pull the upset this week or you may fall to the whim of the tiebreakers.

Tomahawk (2-5, 1-4 GNC)
Remaining: @Merrill, Lakeland
It is win or go home, and it starts with a Merrill team that is going to be looking to get things right after a last second loss.

Rhinelander (3-4, 1-4 GNC)
Remaining: @Medford, Merrill
Rhinelander’s playoff hopes hang on a Thursday night upset of the league leaders, in their place, who are on a five game winning streak. Not impossible but improbable.

Check back next Monday for an update on everyone’s playoff hopes.
