Michelle Marshall (left) and Connie Casey (right) organized a memorial in memory of their former Aspirus Riverview Hospital operating room co-worker, Bill Babcock.

Submitted to OnFocus – WISCONSIN RAPIDS Bill Babcock was an employee of Aspirus Riverview Hospital for 35 years. Over those years, his positivity, kindness and generosity touched many of his co-workers and community members.

After losing his battle with cancer in December, Bill’s former co-workers Michelle Marshall (left) and Connie Casey set out to raise funds to ensure his memory and inspirational spirit live on for many years to come.

Nearly $7,000 was gifted to the Aspirus Riverview Foundation to support the Aspirus Cancer Care-Wisconsin Rapids’ Cancer Patient Fund and to set up a scholarship fund in Bill’s name. Connie and Michelle are taken aback by the response they have received. “It is a true testament to the impact Bill had on the lives of others. He will always be our hero and greatly missed.”
