December’s full moon peaked shortly after midnight at 12:12 a.m. EST on Dec. 12th, the final full moon of the decade.

A full moon in December is called a Cold Moon. According to NASA, the moon will appear full through Friday morning. On Dec. 12, the sky’s brightest planet will be Venus.

The first full moon of the ’20s decade will be January 10, 2020.

Correction: The time was 12:12 at 12/12, not 12/13.
