Charitable Money Market Account Provides over $12k to Nonprofit
Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) The Hannah Center is closer to its goal of a security system thanks to a donation through Forward Bank.
Forward’s Charitable Money Market Account (CMMA) provided $12,057.24 to the nonprofit, one of the largest donations to a single charity since the account’s launch in 2006.
“We are so thankful for this donation,” said Tricia Fancher, Program Coordinator at The Hannah Center. “We are in the process of adding a security system to keep our residents and children as safe as possible, and the funds from this CMMA account will go a long way to making that possible!”
The Hannah Center assists women in crisis by offering a compassionate, home-like environment where they can learn life skills and move forward successfully.
The Charitable Money Market Account donated $160,000 to 278 participating organizations this month.
“2019 has been a year of milestones – we celebrated our 100 year anniversary, reached $500 million in assets and now we’ve reached over $1 million in donations through the Charitable Money Market Account program,” said Bill Sennholz, CEO/President at Forward Bank. “The donations from the CMMAs continue to grow each year because of the thoughtfulness of our customers and the relationships we’ve built in our communities.”
