MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Move over, sliders. This 5-ingredient appetizer will be your new favorite way to eat a cheeseburger and fries.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. Festy Burgers
  • 24 ORE-IDA waffle fries
  • 6 slices Kraft cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
  • 24 cherry tomatoes
  • 24 dill pickle slices

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line two rimmed baking sheets with aluminum foil and set aside.
  2. Shape burgers into 24 (1 ½-inch) patties. Place on one foil-lined baking sheet and set aside.
  3. Place waffle fries in a single layer on the second baking sheet.
  4. Bake fries for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, add baking sheet with patties to oven and continue baking for 10-13 minutes, or until burgers are cooked through and fries are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Place a burger patty on top of a waffle fry. Top each with a slice of cheese, pickle slice and tomato. Secure with a toothpick and serve warm.
