The Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library will reopen to visitors at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 29th.

Because the Coronavirus is still with us and capable of significant damage to community health, a number of changes to public access have changed, until further notice. Our goal is to keep the public as safe and healthy as possible, while protecting the health and safety of our staff and their families. We are all in this together. We are asking for compliance with the limits on access as we bring you back into the building, responsibly.

Library hours are Monday to Friday 9 am – Noon, 1 – 4 pm, and 5 – 8, & Saturday 9 am – Noon and 1 – 4 pm.

During the closed hours each day, we are cleaning for your safety. Pick-up window is open 9 am – 8 pm (Monday – Friday), 9 am – 5 pm (Saturday). Items at the pick-up window have been quarantined and the covers sanitized.

Library staff encourage you to:

-Wear a mask. If you want one, we’ll provide it.

-Wash or sanitize your hands before and after computer use.

-Ask staff to get materials for you.

The number of people allowed in the building at one time will be limited.

-Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

-Computer use is limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes a day.

If you need library staff help at a computer station, you must wear a mask to protect our staff and their family. We will provide one, if necessary.

Staff will sanitize items from the stacks/computer stations/tables on request.
