OnFocus – El Mezcal has debuted a new drinks menu featuring old favorites and new refreshing cocktails to try.

“We wanted to expand our drinks menu to provide our guests with even more delicious drink options to go with their meals,” said Andres Aguirre, manager. “We have some traditional Mexican drinks, along with some other local favorites.”

The new menu features the traditional margaritas and bottled beer, but also a wide range of new favorites including Mimosas, the Bahama Mama, Mojio, and Moscow Mule.

The Michelada, one of Mexico’s most popular drinks, is also featured. Similar to a Wisconsin Bloody Mary, the beer-based cocktail is made with lime, salt, assorted sauces, spices, tomato juice, and chili peppers.

“The Michelada is made with my homemade secret recipe,” said Aguirre. “It’s one-of-a-kind and people seem to really like it so far!”

Also popular is the Paloma, an authentic tequila-based cocktail made with fresh squeezed lime juice, salt, and grapefruit soda served in a chilled, salt-rimmed glass.

For those margarita-lovers looking to try something new, the Coronarita features a Corona beer on top of a house margarita.

“It’s a classic twist on a popular favorite,” said Aguirre.

El Mezcal also offers drink specials during the week, including 2-for-1 Margaritas and $2 bottled beer. Follow their Facebook page for details.
