MOSINEE, WI (OnFocus) – Local business owner Cory Tomczyk announced his bid for the Wisconsin State Senate Seat in District 29 on the Republican ticket. Incumbent Jerry Petrowski is not running for re-election.
Tomczyk, a Mosinee resident, and entrepreneur/owner of IROW, has been active in promoting freedom and opposing government overreach.
“I am not a politician,” stated Tomczyk. “I am a common man like many of you in this room. I do not seek this office for salary or career. I seek this office to help my fellow Northern Wisconsin residents.” In his announcement speech, he highlighted support for the Second Amendment, parental rights in education, lower taxes and election integrity.
Previously elected to the Mosinee School Board, this is Tomczyk’s first campaign for a state level office.
