Due to COVID-19 concerns, Columbus Catholic Schools has suspended its high school volleyball season for two weeks, beginning September 24.  They will resume our season on October 7.

“I am heart-broken for our players and coaches. They did everything we asked and then some, taking every possible precaution,” said Columbus Catholic Athletic Director Joe Konieczny in a statement. “Their preparation was relentless and they were poised to have a very successful season. I take solace in knowing how good Coach Egle and her staff are at using athletics to influence young people. I am certain they will find a way to use this setback to make our student-athletes better people.”
“Our school is praying for all schools, teams, and people affected by this virus,” said Konieczny. “May every high school athlete be back doing what they love as soon as possible.”
