Columbus Catholic girls basketball takes down Northland Lutheran

KRONENWETTER – A dominating first-half performance proved to be enough for the Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team on Monday.

The Dons ran out to a 14-point lead by the break and finished off a 46-38 victory in a nonconference game at Northland Lutheran.

Columbus (4-2) led 27-13 at halftime and held on in the second half despite missing six of its 11 free throw attempts.

Kari Kreklau scored 16 points for Northland Lutheran (2-3).
