Marshfield (OnFocus) – City Administrator Steve Barg confirmed that Marshfield Police Chief Rick Gramza is on voluntary leave and Assistant Chief Pat Zeps is providing leadership for the Police Department during the Chief’s absence.
Barg was not able to comment on why Gramza is on leave or for how long, due to employee records and personal information being private information.
According to City Policy 3.352, City of Marshfield employees can request leaves of absence and an unscheduled absence typically is unpaid unless an employee’s supervisor approves the use of accrued vacation, sick leave, personal holiday, or compensatory time in accordance with City policy.
