Stratford (On Focus) – Just one week after what was the most anticipated football game in central Wisconsin this season, a CWC Large matchup of Stratford and Spencer/Columbus, it’s another CWC game that has all of central Wisconsin abuzz.

Actually, make that the entire state of Wisconsin.

In Week 3, a scoreless game at the half saw Stratford pull away for a 28-0 shutout of S/C. In Week 4, the Tigers are right back at it, with perennial powerhouse Amherst visiting Stratford.

With the move from the Marawood to the CWC Large, Stratford  has its second huge game in the conference. One week after toppling longtime Cloverbelt power S/C, the Tigers look to do the same against CWC power and multiple time state champion Amherst.

Both teams come into the game with impressive resumes, and the only reason fans won’t be packed in on Friday night is due to safety precautions. In years past, this game would be the type fans show up an hour early just to get a seat. Make no mistake about it, this game looks to be a classic.

Here’s a look at the game, with our OnFocus closeup:
