Bond for Nekoosa Woman Involved in Tuesday Shooting Set at $250,000

OnFocus – The bond for Amy Chulin-Carpenter, 50, of Nekoosa has been set at $250,000 for attempted second degree intentional homicide and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon in the wake of a shooting that occurred around 11:30 on Tuesday night.

According to reports, Chulin-Carpenter allegedly shot a 63-year old man while claiming he was abusing her at a home on Cranmoor Road. A witness to the incident echoed that sentiment and Chulin-Carpenter told police she had no choice but to shoot him.

The victim of the shooting is in stable condition. Court records indicate that the victim told police that he and Amy had been drinking when they got into an argument which led to the incident.
