Black Bear Spotted Outside Brew Pub
Marshfield | A bear was was seen outside of Blue Heron BrewPub on Thursday evening. As diners were inside eating, a bear made its way down 9th Street near the restaurant. Jennifer Benson was eating dinner when she looked up and saw a bear.
“It was the last thing we expected, but he was very calm and just walked back down the street. It made our night!” she said of the encounter.
This not the first time residents of Marshfield have seen a bear inside the city limits. This past spring, Marshfield Police Department live-captured a bear in a residential neighborhood near Wal-Mart.
