MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Former Common Council Alderman Ken Bargender has announced he will be running for the position of Mayor in the 2022 spring election.
Bargender announced his candidacy on his Facebook page stating, “I have served the citizens of Marshfield in many capacities over the past 14 years. I feel it is time to use my experience and knowledge to fulfill the role of Mayor. Because, ‘Together we can make Marshfield better.'”
The first day for candidates to begin their nominating petitions was December 1st. Bargender posted that he needs nominations in order to run for the office.
The spring election will be held April 5 and will contain both the mayoral race as well as multiple aldermanic seats.
