Augusta Runs Past Port Edwards Girls

Halftime: 31-10 Augusta
The first half saw Augusta jump out to a 12-3 lead and they never looked back.  Fueled by Kennedy Korger’s 18 first half points, the Beavers coasted to a 31-10 lead at the half.  The Blackhawks were able cut into the lead early in the 2nd half as they went on a 7-0 run to start the half, down 31-17.    They were able to get it down to an 11 point deficit at 37-26 at around the 12-minute mark.  But that was as close Port Edwards would get.  Kennedy Korger led all scorers as she finished with 30 points, while teammate Brittany Bergman chipped in 10.   Nakita Borths led the way for the Blackhawks with 14 points.
