Auburndale (OnFocus) – Auburndale’s Kaitlyn Kundinger is a three sport athlete for the Eagles, excelling in volleyball, basketball and softball.

OnFocus: What classes are you taking this year?

Kundinger: I am taking Personal Finance, College Algebra, College Freshman and Sophomore English, Intro to Human Services, Intro to Sociology, Intro to Psychology, and Individual/Dual Sports.

OnFocus: What is your favorite class?

Kundinger: My favorite class is Psychology.

OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete at Auburndale?

Kundinger: The support from our community, the friendships you make with your teammates, and the coaches who put in so many hours to help us play to our greatest potential.

OnFocus: What are your hobbies?

Kundinger: Hunting, fishing, hiking, and watching Netflix.

OnFocus: Who is/was your favorite teacher?

Kundinger: Ms. Batien.

OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?

Kundinger:
Clam strips.

OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?

Kundinger: Country.

OnFocus: What are your plans after high school?

Kundinger: I plan to attend UW-Stevens Point to major in Social Work.

OnFocus: If they made a movie about you, and your life,  what would it be called?

Kundinger: ‘Fun with Frank’ 😉

OnFocus: What sports do you play?

Kundinger: Volleyball, basketball, and softball.

OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

Kundinger:
Georgi; everything would be funny and she can’t swim very well.

OnFocus: What is your most memorable moment as an athlete?

Kundinger: Being co-conference champs my senior year of basketball.

OnFocus: Who is your favorite athlete?

Kundinger: Molly Haggerty.

OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about playing home games?

Kundinger:
The atmosphere of having so many of our fans coming to cheer us on.

OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete at Auburndale?

Kundinger: The support from our community, the friendships you make with your teammates, and the coaches who put in so many hours to help us play to our greatest potential.

OnFocus: What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?

Kundinger: The extra hours in the gym are always worth it. Never take a season for granted, highschool seems to fly right by.

OnFocus: Lastly, pancakes or waffles?

Kundinger: Waffles for sure!
