The Tigers could not contest with the Apache defense and Auburndale’s aggressive strategy won them the game 41-26.
Natalie Aue led the Apaches with 13 points, followed by Georgi Schmutzer with 9 and Paityn Hamus, Kaitlynn Kundinger and Annamarie Aue each added 4.
For Stratford, Breanna Ackley totaled 12 for the leading scorer, Tanaya Schillinger followed with 8 and Emily Hughes added 6.
Auburndale is 2nd in the Marawood South Conference with 10-4 behind Newman, and a seasonal record of 15-5.
Stratford is now stuck at the bottom of the conference in 6th place with a record of 5-9 and 6-13 in the season.
Auburndale is traveling to Athens on Friday Feb.14th, in a conference crossover to take on the Bluejays.
Stratford will also be traveling on Friday, taking on Rib Lake in a crossover.
