Athens Knocks off Columbus Catholic

A veteran Athens Boys Basketball team picked up its biggest win of the season on Saturday, knocking off Columbus Catholic, 63-51.

The Blue Jays had a balanced scoring attack with four players scoring in double figures. Dayne Diethelm led the charge with 15 points. Cooper Diedrich had 14 points, Kody Lepak 13, and Aiden Janke added 12.

Eden Jacobson led the Dons with 15 points. Jadon Nienast and Sam Wilczek each added 12 points.
