Halftime:  35-13 Athens
Port Edwards would lead the game at 3-0 on a 3 pointer from Melanie Sillars.  The game would stay close as it was 10-13 Athens at the 5:30 mark in the first half.  But then Athens would get hot on the offensive end to go on a 22-3 run to go into the half up 35-13.  In the second half the Bluejays would stay hot as they cruised to a 61-22 win over the Blackhawks.   Port Edward’s senior Taylor Martin would lead all scorers in the loss with 16 points and 10 rebounds.  Jazelle Hartwig would lead Athens with 15, while teammates McKenzie Schug and Sophia Coker would add 10 and 9 points respectively.
