Wisconsin Rapids (OnFocus) – The Assumption Girls flexed their figurative muscle Monday evening, thumping Marathon in Marawood action, 85-45.
Jessie Grundhoffer led the charge for Assumption, scoring 21 points. Izzy Jungwirth scored 13 points, with Emily Bohn and Ainara Martin chipping in with 11 points apiece.
Allison Wokatsch had 14 points for Marathon and Anna Cleven chipped in with 11 points.
The Royals drained 8 three-pointers, led by Izzy Jungwirth with three.
