Medford Police Department –
On Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 1:36pm, Officers from the Medford Police Department and Taylor County Sheriff’s Office responded to Aspirus Medford Hospital to assist an outside law enforcement agency with an investigation.
An individual had been brought into Aspirus Medford Hospital for treatment for a gunshot wound which occurred in the outside agency’s jurisdiction.
Aspirus Medford Hospital went into lockdown as part of their procedure and officers remained at the hospital to assist the outside agency.
There was no danger to the Medford community from this incident.
