9.7.20
On the listed date and time a 22-year-old Marshfield woman reported that she never received an Amazon package that was supposedly delivered to her house. The woman stated that she received a notification that the package had been delivered and then followed up with USPS and they confirmed the package had been delivered. She did not know who would be responsible for taking the package and the packaged was believed to be left next to a busy sidewalk and roadway.

9.11.20 at 1700
A 48-year-old Medford man was arrested for possession of THC following a traffic stop. The man was released from the scene and charges are being requested through the Wood County DA.

9.12.20 at 2244
An Escanaba, MI woman informed Wood Co Dispatch that a 26-year-old Marshfield female was in violation of her probation rules by entering the an address on the 400 block of N Central Ave. Officers made contact with the 26-year-old inside the bar and she admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the day which is a violation of her probation rules. The 26-year-old was also out on bond due to multiple open court cases.

9.13.20 2000
It was reported that a 56-year-old Marshfield man was seen consuming alcohol at a bar. The man was subject to rules through Probation and Parole, that he was not to possess, consume, or be at establishments serving alcohol. Police made contact with other bar patrons, it was confirmed the Marshfield man was there prior and had consumed alcohol. A copy of this report will be forwarded to Probation and Parole.

9.13.20 at 1115
Officers were dispatched to the Spot Bar for a physical altercation. A 23-year-old Marshfield man was ultimately arrested for battery, disorderly conduct and resisting causing a soft tissue injury. The man was transported to the Wood County Jail and charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

A men’s BMX bike was found at Griese Park and is being held at the police department.

9.15.20 at 0757
A 33-year-old Marshfield woman reported to that a 36-year-old Illinois man violated a temporary restraining order. While investigating this matter officers found that the man was also stalking the woman, and he had used her personal information in an attempt to obtain monies from her checking account. A request for charges will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office reference stalking, identity theft and violation of TRO.

9.15.20 at 1905
A 20-year-old Marshfield woman reported that she has been receiving unwanted and sometimes inappropriate messages from her 19-year-old neighbor.

9.16.20 at 1059
A traffic stop was attempted and a vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and was abandoned. A male and female fled on foot from the vehicle. A 31-year-old female was later located and arrested. The female had a valid warrant. A 28-year-old male driver was identified but could not be located. The male had outstanding warrants, was on felony bond and further investigation indicated he may have stolen a handgun. The female was transported to Wood County Jail. It was later learned the vehicle nearly struck a U.S. Postal Service employee who was walking in the roadway during the incident. Charges will be requested through Wood County District Attorney’s Office. Follow up to continue.

9.17.20 at 1504
On the listed date and time officers arrested a 43-year-old Marshfield man, with the assistance of MNSO deputies, for fleeing police, felony bail jumping, and possession of a controlled substance following a pursuit with the man. He was transported to MMC ER for medical clearance and was then transported to WOSO Jail.

9.17.20 at 2310
A Marshfield woman reported receiving threats and photographs of her prior residence from an unknown phone number. Investigation to continue.
