OnFocus – It’s been 13 years since Marshfield native Brittany Zimmermann was murdered while attending college at UW-Madison.
Twelve years later, a suspect was arrested and taken into custody by Madison Police. David Kahl has since been charged with the crime and is currently undergoing a competency evaluation.
Zimmermann was majoring in Medical Microbiology and Immunology and lived with her fiancée and their three cats in the 500 block of West Doty Street at the time of her murder.
