How to Dispose of Yard Waste

Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) After the yard damage caused by last weekend’s storms, Advanced Disposal has had a busy week helping homeowners dispose of fallen branches and other debris.

“It has started to slow down a bit now towards the end of the week, but there has definitely been an increase in traffic through the yard,” said Melissa Brock, General Manager.

The site located at 501 S Hume Ave. is accessible 24/7 for residents to dispose of brush and yard waste separately.

“We would like to thank the City for their help at the beginning of the week to create more space to dump and thank the residents for their patience, as we know there was often a wait time to dump due to the increased amount coming in,” said Brock.

For those stopping by with debris, note that brush should be eight inches or less in diameter without trash, lumber, or other waste. Yard waste can be loose or in compostable bags. Regular paper bags or trash bags should not be used or left in the pile.

Any questions about waste disposal can be directed to Advanced Disposal at 715-387-6275.
