Abbotsford (OnFocus) – Abbotsford Student Athlete Catie Clement has excelled for the Falcons in her four years of competition. Clement not only has been a leader on the court and in the field, she collected an impressive array of scholarships at Abbotsford’s Senior Recognition Night.

We take an inside look at Clement with our world famous interview, and ask all all of the important questions everyone wants to know, including: Pancakes or Waffles?

OnFocus: What classes are you taking this year?

Clement:  NTC Written Communications Foundations of Art Treble Choir Mixed Choir NTC Intro to Business NTC Calculus Teacher Aide World Design Family Foods 2.

OnFocus: What is your favorite class?

Clement: Family Foods 2 because we make yummy stuff.

OnFocus: Who is/was your favorite teacher?

Clement:  I don’t have one favorite teacher because I have a TON of really awesome one. Plus they will probably read this.

OnFocus: What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?

Clement: Focus on school because no one can ever take what you have learned away from you.  Enjoy your time in high-school and don’t wish it away.

OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?

Clement:  Alligator.

OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?

Clement:  Country or Pop.

OnFocus: What are your plans after high school?

Clement:  Attend UWSP and double major in Elementary Ed and Special Ed.

OnFocus: If they made a movie about you, and your life,  what would it be called?

Clement:  ‘Pocketful of Sunshine.’

OnFocus: What sports do you play?

Clement:  Volleyball and Basketball.

OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

Clement:  Bridgett Pogodzinski.

OnFocus: What is your most memorable moment as an athlete?

Clement:  Starting Varsity as a sophomore for basketball.

OnFocus: Who is your favorite athlete?

Clement:  Giannis.

OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about playing home games?

Clement:  I enjoy the familiarity of the court and Mrs. KDO at the admission table.

OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete at Abbotsford?

Clement:  The best thing about being a student athlete is the support from the teachers and coaches. It helps that a lot of our coaches our teachers and they provide a support system to help us in school.

OnFocus: What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?

Clement: Focus on school because no one can ever take what you have learned away from you.  Enjoy your time in high-school and don’t wish it away.
