Wood County Sheriff –
Wood County Sheriff’s Deputies along with EMS personnel were dispatched to a residence in the town of Port Edwards for a report of a pulse-less, non-breathing male subject on March 18 at 7:31 p.m.
It was determined the 32 year-old male resident was deceased. An investigation into the death is active and ongoing at this time. The Sheriff’s Department is teaming up with the Ho-Chunk Nation Police Department on the investigation. The Sheriff’s Department was also assisted by Nekoosa Ambulance Service and Port Edwards First Responders.
