2021 Auburndale Football Schedule

Defense: key returning players – Jesse Fowler DT, Tim Schmitt LB, Trayton Weber (DB), Conner Brandl (DE), Terrance Roberson, DB Alex Willfahrt, S

Conference outlook – The conference will be very strong once again. Colby looks like the frontrunner with Edgar right there. Abbotsford is always strong and Marathon should be improving.

Keys to your success on offense – Key is for us to play fast and with confidence. We would like to spread the defense and get our athletes in space.

Keys to your success on defense – Play with low pads and continue to improve our aggressiveness. We have to stay healthy and again we need our kids to be confident so we can play with speed.

What is Auburndale football all about? What does it mean to be a member of the Auburndale Eagles football program? Good question. We are still trying to bring out our best qualities and be consistent with them. We have some great kids that are solid athletes. I hope to develop them into confident football players. We have always had very good student-athletes within our football program and we will continue to emphasize that.

Coach’s comments: anything else you’d like to share? Lacking numbers (although up from last year) we are going to have to stay healthy to have much success this year.
