Wheelers Chevy and Buick/GMC Stores Now Under One Roof

After months of planning and progressing through the approval process, Wisconsin Rapids’ Chevy and Buick/GMC stores are now under one roof.

“We’ve been working on this merger since we purchased the Chevy Buick GMC dealerships down in Wisconsin Rapids,” said Mary Jo Wheeler-Schueller. “It’s been a goal of ours to have it all under one roof.”

As of March 1, Wisconsin Rapids Chevy and the Wisconsin Rapids Buick GMC store are both located in one convenient location at 2410 West Grand Avenue, as the new “Wisconsin Rapids Chevy Buick GMC” store.

“We’ve been able to get ourselves merged, which is a benefit to everyone,” said Wheeler-Schueller. “This was done so that we would be better able to serve the customers. Prior to this, there was a lot of confusion about where to go for sales and service.”

She added that by combining the locations, staff will be able to have improved working hours and therefore be better able serve customers.

“We’re able to better cover hours without burning out our employees,” said Wheeler-Schueller. “Happier employees lead to happier customers.”

Wheelers will start construction on a new Auto Body Shop this spring located at the former Buick GMC location.
