Snow Day – We were supposed to take a 2 day family trip yesterday morning to White Sands. Unfortunately, that got derailed by the government shutdown as it was closed. The snow more than made up for any disappointment. My Mom joined me as I left early to go take pictures. A friend texted me saying that the Vail area had 4 or more inches. We headed out towards Colossal Cave and found upwards of 6-7 inches, the most I’ve ever seen. My wife and kids joined us a little later at that same friend’s house for snowball fights, snow angels, sledding, and even a little photography. They have a few horses and a baby poodle that just begged to be photographed. #tucsonsnow #saguaropictures #saguaronationalpark
