Stratford volleyball sweeps Edgar, moves to 2-0 in Marawood South

EDGAR – The Stratford volleyball team improved to 2-0 in the Marawood Conference South Division and remains undefeated overall this season after a 3-0 sweep of Edgar on Tuesday night at Edgar High School.

The Tigers won 25-9, 25-17, 25-11.

Mazie Nagel had nine kills, Brooke Petersen added eight kills and 14 assists, Jadyn Dahlke had a team-high 24 assists and six digs, and Blaire Lindner added eight kills for Stratford.

Stratford returns to action next Tuesday, Sept. 18, at home against Wausau Newman Catholic. Stratford and Newman tied for the Marawood South title a year ago.
