Stratford volleyball cruises past Marathon, moves to 4-0 in Marawood South

MARATHON – The Stratford volleyball team just keeps on winning.

The Tigers whipped Marathon 3-0 to remain undefeated this season and improve to 4-0 in the Marawood Conference South Division.

Stratford won 25-17, 25-11, 25-10.

Mazie Nagel had 17 kills and 14 digs to lead the Tigers in both categories.

Jadyn Dahlke had 23 assists and three kills, Brooke Petersen added 17 assists and seven kills, and Lauryn Nagel also had seven kills for Stratford.

Stratford will host Amherst for a nonconference match on Thursday. The match will be live-streamed at zaleskisportsshow.com. The Tigers will then compete in the first Marawood North-South Crossover meet of the season on Saturday at Abbotsford, along with Athens, Marathon, Rib Lake, and Auburndale.
